Why Outreach Matters
We believe that faith is best expressed through action. Our outreach programs provide opportunities for our congregation to engage with our neighbors, address local needs, and extend a helping hand to those in need. By serving others, we not only demonstrate our love for our community but also grow in our own faith and compassion.

Our Initiatives
We offer a variety of outreach and service projects, including:

Church on the Street ( C.O.T.S). We partner with Orchard Church’s Church on the Street ministry which actively engages with the local community by providing essential resources, support, and a caring presence to those experiencing homelessness and hardship, fostering hope and connection in Chico, CA.

Alpha:  Alpha is a dynamic and welcoming course designed for anyone curious about the Christian faith. Alpha provides a safe space to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions.

Release Hour:  For over 70 years, our church has proudly hosted the Release Hour program for students at Richvale Elementary. This engaging initiative invites children to join us for an hour-long session designed to provide a fun and enriching experience, similar to Vacation Bible School (VBS).

During Release Hour, students come across from the school to participate in activities that include interactive lessons, games, crafts, and music, all centered around important life lessons and faith. Our dedicated volunteers create a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and build friendships in a safe and supportive setting.

We believe in nurturing the hearts and minds of our young ones and look forward to making a positive impact on their lives through this program!
